On my spiritual quest to visit every church in my city, a journey inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit, I found myself drawn to Providence Transformation Church International.
This visit, marking the 35th church on my sacred path, brought me to a place that stood as a pillar of love, inclusivity, and hope in the heart of our mid-town community.
From the moment I approached, I sensed that this experience would be extraordinary. Every churchgoer including Elder Bridgette Hubbard, made sure my daughter and I felt an overwhelming sense of love and belonging.
Providence Transformation Church International is a place of profound spiritual presence and beauty. The Holy Spirit touched me in this place… in a way I’ve never experienced before.
Arriving early to capture the essence of the church in photos, we were met with smiles, heartfelt greetings, and warm hugs.
Every interaction embodied the church’s mission for the year: to be faith-powered, kingdom-driven, and dedicated to building relationships for the glory of God.
Though small in size, this church radiated a power and might that was truly inspiring. It’s a place that’s Christ-centered, Bible-believing, and committed to prayer, focusing on loving God’s people and ensuring everyone leaves transformed.
As my daughter and I joined in worship, we were blessed to be part of this beautiful congregation. The spirit-led guidance that brought us here was evident in every moment.
The worship team’s renditions of “Blessing, Glory and Honor” and “O Magnify The Lord” filled the church with vibrant praise, as everyone clapped, shouted, and worshipped together.
The scripture reading from John 15:1-8 set the stage for the sermon that would follow.
A particularly moving moment was when a vibrant and beautiful young lady, Da’Hani Miller, performed a solo praise dance. Her dance, so full of emotion and devotion, brought tears to my eyes, showing me the moving power of worship through dance.
Before beginning his sermon, Bishop and Dr. James Coleman knelt in prayer.
Witnessing his act of humility and devotion in front of the congregation and the Lord was deeply touching.
His sermon, focusing on “The Vine and the Branches,” offered a fresh and thought-provoking perspective. He challenged us with two reflective questions: “What Am I Talking About?” and “What Am I Doing?” These questions prompted a deep introspection about our actions and words for the glory of God.
Bishop Coleman’s reminder that we have hearts to love and mouths to speak life, and to praise God in all circumstances, resonated deeply. His sermon, built around the concepts of “Abideth-Alignment-Accomplishment,” was powerful and soul-stirring.
Bishop/Dr. Coleman’s preaching is transformative, magnifying Jesus above all else.
One of the most beautiful moments of the service was when every member of the congregation came forward to embrace us, welcoming us with kind words. This act of love and acceptance was a precious moment, making us feel truly part of their church family. Every person in this church hugged us and it was something we will always cherish.
The service concluded with a profoundly moving moment at the altar.
Bishop/Dr. James Coleman prayed over each of us with anointing oil, a moment I will treasure forever. I also had the opportunity to pray for him and his wife upon his request, an experience that was both humbling and uplifting.
Providence Transformation Church International is a special place.
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this church to experience firsthand the abundant love and generosity they extend to everyone who walks through their doors. The sense of community here is amazing; it’s a place where every individual is valued and cared for deeply.

From the passionate worship to the powerful prayers, every aspect of the service is infused with a deep love for God and His people. The church’s commitment to transformation is evident not just in their words but in their actions – from the way they embraced those in need at their doorstep to the way they engage with each member of their congregation.
This is an environment where faith is alive and active. The focus on abiding in God, aligning our lives with His will, and accomplishing His work on earth was a powerful reminder of the Christian journey.
Providence Transformation Church International is more than just a church; it’s a family, a sanctuary, and a place of spiritual renewal. Worshiping our Lord and Savior here nourishes the soul and uplifts the spirit. I left the service feeling renewed, inspired, and deeply grateful for the experience.
