2210 14th Street, Lynchburg VA
Today, with hearts longing for peace and encouragement, I eagerly answered the call of the Holy Spirit, with my sister joining me, leading us to Kingdom Power Worship Center in the heart of Lynchburg on 14th Street.
This visit marked a significant milestone on my spiritual journey, being the 48th church I’ve had the privilege to explore as part of my mission to visit every Christian church throughout our city.
Today was especially beautiful, as my sister, Jessica, recently diagnosed with cancer… joined me on this journey.
From the moment we arrived at Kingdom Power Worship Center, an unexplainable sense of serenity and love enveloped us.
The air hummed with an overwhelming aura of joy, saturating every nook and cranny of the sanctuary.
It was evident from the outset that this church is a haven where love flourishes and the spirit of fellowship thrives.
THIS CHURCH IS FULL OF LOVE…
The mission statement of Kingdom Power Worship Center speaks to the very essence of what this church embodies: it serves as a refuge where individuals with servant hearts extend a warm embrace to people from all walks of life, inviting to partake in the transformative love of Jesus Christ through worship, the Word, and the bonds of fellowship. And, we witnessed this as soon as we stepped in the parking lot this morning.
THIS CHURCH IS DIFFERENT IN THE VERY BEST WAY…
Kingdom Power Worship Center is sooooooo much more than just a place of worship, it is a tight-knit community, a family united in their commitment to live and love without judgement, without conditions.
At the core of Kingdom Power Worship Center lie the foundational pillars of love, prayer, giving, holiness, and faith. Here, Jesus is magnified, guiding every facet of life and worship. It’s a sanctuary where weary souls find comfort, troubled hearts find healing, and lives are transformed by the unyielding power of God’s boundless love.
As my sister and I immersed ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Kingdom Power Worship Center, we were embraced by a profound sense of belonging.
THIS CHURCH IS FULL OF JOY…
The genuine warmth and hospitality extended to us by the members reaffirmed that we were indeed among family. We experienced love in a brand new way.
Throughout our visit, from the spirited worship to the heartfelt fellowship, Kingdom Power Worship Center emanated with the radiant light of Christ’s love.
We experienced a divine encounter that left a mark on our hearts forever, reminding us of the beauty and diversity of God’s Kingdom.
But amidst the joy and fellowship, there was a moment that touched me deeply.
My sister, battling an aggressive form of bone cancer, stood among the congregation, her hands lifted high in praise.
Apostle Kelso Clark and his wife, Pastor Jacqueline, approached us with compassion, grace and genuine love.
They took the time to personally pray over my sister, imparting words of encouragement and love that will forever be cherished in our hearts.
As my sister prepares for her upcoming treatment at the UVA cancer center next week, we hold steadfast to our faith, believing in God’s miraculous power to heal.
In Kingdom Power Worship Center, we found not only a sanctuary of joy and hope but a place where every member really cared about us, and took time to give the very best hugs and pray with us.
Our hearts overflow with gratitude for the opportunity to experience the love and grace that permeate every facet of this remarkable family.
My friend and Fitness Trainer, KJ Bryant, shared with me his profound connection to Kingdom Power Worship Center. He revealed that he has been attending this church since he was 16 years old, emphasizing that it’s a safe place devoid of judgments where lives are transformed, including his own.
The worship team, was nothing short of phenomenal, bringing tears to my eyes as they sang “Good, Good Father” and other moving praise and worship songs.
Apostle Henry Tolbert delivered a powerful sermon from Nehemiah Chapter 2, reminding the congregation of the advantage we have with God always by our side. He emphasized that nothing is too hard for God and reassured that the Lord will never leave us.
The energy and fervor of the entire congregation was unlike any other that I have experienced and it was such an honor and joy to praise the Lord in this beautiful place, in this exact moment, with this beautiful family!
Tears are streaming down my face as I write this, thank you Kingdom Power Worship Center for every hug, for every smile, for every prayer, and for the compassion and grace you showed my family today. We will always carry this with us. Please go visit this church!
