Today marked the 69th stop on a journey that has become far more than I ever imagined.
This humbling and deeply healing path…visiting every church in my city as the Holy Spirit calls, has profoundly impacted my life in ways I couldn’t have foreseen.
It has become a path not just of exploration but of transformation, as God continues to heal the most broken places of my heart.
As I arrived at Passion Community Church, I was immediately enveloped by an atmosphere of kindness, warmth, and genuine welcome.
Smiling faces greeted me at every turn, and the friendliness of the congregation was real.
But what most of the people there didn’t know was that this particular service held a special weight for me.
Recently, I made the courageous decision to come forward and publicly share a deeply painful part of my past, a past marked by unimaginable abuse that stole my innocence and shattered my sense of safety for many years growing up and into young adulthood.
This service at Passion Community Church was the first I attended since revealing this burden to the world, and I felt the Holy Spirit working within me in ways I hadn’t expected.
For the first time in what felt like forever, I found myself able to close my eyes during worship, not out of fear or anxiety, but in complete trust and surrender to Him.
I am slowly learning to accept the love and comfort in the hugs I receive, and with each embrace, I feel a little more of God’s love washing over me, reminding me that I am cherished, that I am safe, and that I am not alone.
Every person I spoke with at Passion Community Church was incredibly kind, and their words of encouragement touched my heart in ways they may never fully understand.
I cannot express enough gratitude to this community…your warmth and love were exactly what I needed today, even though you may not have known just how much.
The worship team at Passion Community Church is simply phenomenal.
As they sang a medley of “Jesus, We Love You” and “Reckless Love,” I was moved to tears.
The lyrics resonated deep within me, echoing the sentiments of my own heart, which has been crying out for that reckless, overwhelming love that only Jesus can provide.
One of the highlights of my visit was meeting Pastor Tommy, the owner of Mission House Coffee.
He was such an encouraging light, sharing his own journey of how he became involved with this church and why it holds such a special place in his heart.
His words were calming to my spirit, offering comfort and a sense of belonging that I so desperately needed.
Pastor Mike also went out of his way to have a truly authentic conversation with me, and I was deeply touched by his thoughtful interaction. In a world that often feels so full of superficial exchanges, his sincerity was like a breath of fresh air.
What struck me most during my visit was the consistent message from the members I spoke with: they come to Passion Community Church to lift up one name, and one name only—Jesus.
This singular focus on Christ was evident in every aspect of the service, from the warm greetings to the heartfelt prayers, and it was incredibly moving to witness.
The sermon delivered by Pastor Jorshe today was another highlight of my visit.
Guided by the scripture Galatians 2:1-10, he spoke with conviction about Paul’s boldness to stand up and tell the truth, even when it was uncomfortable and unpopular.
I was deeply moved by how Pastor Jorshe spoke of real-life stories of his family and daughters into his message, reminding me of stories in the Bible and how they connect in our everyday lives.
His words about the Gospel filling us up meant so much to me, as I too have been on a journey to find that fullness in Christ.
When the call came to step forward boldly in faith, I found myself moving to the front, bringing with me all of my brokenness and pain.
In that vulnerable moment, a beautiful lady with blonde hair came up beside me, offering a prayer and a hug.
I don’t think she knew how much that simple act of kindness truly meant to me in that moment of despair.
Another young lady also came forward and powerfully prayed over my life, and I will forever be grateful for her words, which brought a sense of peace and hope that I desperately needed.
I encourage everyone to visit Passion Community Church and continue seeking God in every way possible.
This church is a place where you can experience the love of Christ in action, where the focus is solely on lifting up the name of Jesus, and where you will find a community that genuinely cares for each other.
As I left Passion Community Church, my heart was full…not just with the emotions of the day, but with the certainty that I am on the right path.

This journey, though challenging, is one of the most profound experiences of my life.
I will forever be changed by the love, grace, and healing that I have encountered along the way, and I eagerly await to see where the Holy Spirit leads me next.
